Here's a cute little poem I used to read to my children from Mother Goose and Nursery Rhymes:
Once I saw a little bird Come hop, hop, hop; So I cried, "Little bird, Will you stop, stop, stop?" I was going to the window To say, "How do you do?" But he shook his little tail, And far away he flew.
Smalltown RN...if you had read through the entirety of the messages I left on Skittle's blog, you would have gleened the following information. (1) I didn't watch the video the ENTIRE way through and hence, I did not see the credits at the end (2) The first time I saw one of these auto-name replacement websites, there were NO credits and therefore I was led to believe my friend had made it for me. It wasn't until later that my friend confessed to me how those sites work. And though you claim to see "loads" of these, I don't think I have seen one since.
Skittles has emailed me or left a message on a couple of occasions asking for internet-related advice. I was simply trying to be helpful and explain them to her, so that perhaps she would pass them along to someone else.
Furthermore, since the incident, I have done nothing but apologize to Barb and Mike, ensuring both that my intentions were not malicious and that I am very sorry that my words and tone were misinterpreted.
Now, I understand that you are upset that Skittles is sad, and trust me I am as well, probably more so than you (though by YOUR tone, I'm sure you'll NEVER believe that). I was only trying to help and deserve none of the backlash I have received.
Oh dear a lot of blogger hating going on! I hope all this nasty stuff goes away and people just concentrate on the lovely post you have just done! I think a certain someone should of read it before posting a comment and ruining the tone! Cheers Claire
I am glad you like the quote and the picture. I took the picture yesterday of the Stellar visiting my bird feeder. They are a beautiful bird aren't they.
Oh my gosh. I love that bird. What is it? We certainly don't have anyone like her flying around the WDC metropolitan area!!! I love that you like quotes. I love them too, and I am always searching for just the right one.

Very pretty words - but then, consider the source too.

Hi! I took a stroll over from Politics Plus...I like your blog very much. Of course, anyone who quotes Emily gets a gold star in my book anyway!

Beautiful quote and by one of my favorite poets. Excellent thought for the day. Katie

Libby I am glad you like the bird. It is a Stellar Jay, very common around my area and especially my bird feeder.
