Saturday's Photo Scavenger Hunt
Today's theme is "Silver". This is a hard one! I searched my computer for a picture and this is what I came up with. The fish might be "Silver" but it was gold to my hubby!!
22 lb. Chinook Salmon (also known as King Salmon )
Wow!!! Now, I don't know much about Chinook Salmon, but I'm guessing that's a pretty good sized one from the way your husband is so proudly displaying it :)
Now that's a big, silver fish. He must have been proud of that catch. Did he get is mounted? My hubby would have that on a plack and it would be hanging on my wall someplace:)
Great Catch!! (the fish, too..LOL) Nice to meet you, island buddy! I will come and check up on you now and again when I can - I'm off to travel for awhile.
I have to tell you all, that was not the biggest he caught that day! He and his brother's and father had a dock full of salmon. To those of you who asked if we mounted the salmon. The answer is no. We barbqued, we canned, baked, and froze it.
