Ok, so the latest thing seems to be this "Blog hopping". The funny thing I find about this is...isn't that what we have been doing from the get go? I mean really, haven't we been visiting different sites after sites day in and day out? Now someone has come up with a name for it. Thank you, who ever you are, I mean I hate to do anything without a purpose, and hence giving it a name legitimizes what I am spending so many hours on the computer doing. Anyhow, today I thought I would give it a try. It was suggested that we visit 20 sites and link these sites in our post. Well you know what....I only managed to visit 10 sites in over an hour. I travelled the world mind you while doing it, but it takes a lot of time. I like to read what the posts are about and leave a message letting them know how I found their site, what I liked about their site and that I was just out on a walk and hoped that they would drop by sometime. I remember reading at Skittles blog yesterday that she had come to a dead end at one point. I thought how could that be possible...but you know what....it happened to me as well. So back to my list I went and started again. It was kinda of fun. Now I told you I had travelled the world during my walk. but that is not exactly true. I started off back in Michigan which took me to England, which took me to Florida, then to Midwest, then to Quebec, and funny thing is I ended up back in BC without even planning it. So I figured after visiting those 10 sites and ending off where I did, that was a good omen, so I should stop while I was ahead. So here are the folks I visited.....

now, I've not heard it called "blog hopping" but I have heard it called "blog surfing"...that is how I met Pea!! Marsha found me through that method and taught me how...when you hit the go to the next button sometimes the bar disapears, if you will hit your back button then go from that blog again it usually works...now I'm wanting to check out the busted can of biscuits...we call them whop biscuits, hehe, because you gotta whop the can on the counter to get them open...lol!!

Blog hopping. I like that term. I think it's hilarious that you ended up back on the Island without trying.
Sounds like fun and it can really make time pass quickly. Some of my dearest blogging friends have been found while "hopping" around..

It takes me forever just to read all of the wonderful blogs on my list. I don't have time to go looking for new ones anymore (but I will go visit if a blog is mentioned favorably by someone else).

all this reading is slowing the process... but it's in the reading that we learn so much...
I finally got around to adding your blog to my list tonight, along with Debo's too. Now, if I could just figure out how to get my list to show up in a single spaced format instead of looking like it is triple spaced between blogsites!
I tried the "Blog Hopping" thing too - had to back out several times and I didn't even WANT to think of how much time I spent messing around with it. LOL

Blog hopping is a great term. Hope you enjoyed your walk, we should all take a different route around the internet, shake things up a bit.
I see some of my friends have been busy visiting you....I'm glad...they are all a bunch of great girls....I guess you may have guessed that I'm kind of a 2nd mom to some of them!!!

I do that quite a bit when I'm bored, though I never really kept track of who I've visited...I've discovered quite a lot of blogs that way though. If anything, it's a nice way to kill a couple of minutes (or hours) and learn somethings you didn't know before.

I've heard of blog hopping and have a couple of regular blogging friends who do it on a weekly basis then post about whose blog they visited. I just wish I had the time to try it...I have a hard enough time visiting everyone on my friends list! lol Hugs xox
