Saturday's Photo Scavenger Hunt

This weeks theme is Architecture...wow this is a hard one as there are so many wonderful architectural structures out there. So, I started thinking what in my photo library do I have that would fit the bill. This is what I came up with. My husband designs, cuts, fabricates and installs granite. In the picture below I think he did a fabulous job of marrying the architectural design of the home with his artistic flare with the design and installation of the fireplace.

Happy hunting all!

Looks very nice and decorative ! He really did a very good job !

I think you went on the wrong blog that was my daily usual post (Miss Suri Cruise) the link to http://gattina-keyholepictures-blogspot.com/ was just above the text ! Yes, that would have been quite an unusual architecture, lol !

Wonderful piece of architecture. My husband and I used to work for a company that imports, cuts and fabricates granite. We love granite in fact it's all over our house ... flooring and countertops.

Thanks for sharing those great photos.

I keep a scrapbook of things I want to incorporate into my dream home. This definitely would be one of those items (even thought fate has decreed my dream home won't be as grand - and that's okay, too!). I absolutely adore seeing the outdoors from inside. That is absolutely breathtaking!!!

That is a lovely fireplace and a magnificent room with all that natural view. Must feel like heaven on a cold winter night with the fire going.

Mary Anne, that's exquisite. Very Frank Lloyd Wright looking. What a gorgeous home, and in such a fabulous location. Now all we need is for it to be summer, right? Summer in Qualicum is truly Heaven on earth.

Cheers,
Josie

OH I fear there has been a mistake....that is not my home....I wish it was. My hubby did the fireplace in that home...I think I am drawn to this however, as my home has an open floor plan with high ceilings and large windows in my livingroom.

Thanks for dropping by all!
