Well the word is out. I just checked the Environment Canada site and they say that if we don't have snow by now, we won't have any for Christmas. Boo Hoo.....I guess that is what we get for getting it so early this year. It's cooled down again, but it's not the same as having the white stuff.
Apparently, Montreal, who normally has snow for Christmas will also be having a green Christmas. Environment Canada says that British Columbia is not alone. Here are other provinces who will be green at Christmas. But the lucky ones( I guess that is if you like snow) are Winnipeg, Edmonton,Saskatoon, Yellowknife and Iqaluit. Now if Yellowknife and Iqaluit didn't have snow I would say we were really suffering from global warming.

So where you live, will it be a white Christmas? Or does that even matter?
Are you "Dreaming of a White Christmas"?

It is supposed to be a 'wet, green' Christmas here in southwest Michigan! I always like snow for Christmas.....makes it seem more magical or something I guess! Maybe the meteorologists are wrong for both of us..I'll keep my fingers crossed! Hugs across the miles.....
We may get scattered snow showers on Christmas night here in Western New York. I love a white Christmas but don't like the worry of people driving in a storm, so I'm torn. Christmas is all about family, not snow, but it sure does make the decorations liik nice!
I was hoping for snow for Christmas also. But the storm that dumped a few feet of snow in Denver will be rain when it gets to us.
We are predicting hurricanes and swarms of festive killer bees down here!
I never wish for snow.
I really don't like the white stuff, but it does look great in pictures!
Just wanted to stop by to let you know that I am praying that you have a Merry Christmas and a Blessed New Year.
later...
Mary Anne, do you remember the blizzard of 1996? THAT was a white Christmas, hey? My family and I got stranded in Ladysmith. It was a lot of fun, though.
Whether it's rainy, wet, blowing, or whatever, I hope you and your family have a really lovely, Merry Christmas over there in beautiful, beautiful Qualicum.
Cheers,
Josie
I just checked and we (in Ohio) aren't going to have a white Christmas either. Very odd that we have had no snow yet. Also in New Jersey it has been warm. Very strange for this time of year. Oh I bet we get hit in January though.
Mary Anne, I stopped to tell you that I hope you and your family have a wonderful Christmas!
Looks like it's going to be green where we are. I wouldn't mind a little snow :)
