My last post for 2006

Well here it is New Years Eve 2006. Wow I can't believe this year has come to an end. I left work this morning watching a wife doing a bedside vigil with her dying husband. I thought to myself that this might be the last New Years they spend together. Wow, Life eh!
I have read many blogs asking if we have made any resolutions. I have, but I don't really want to share as I don't want to disappoint myself if I can't follow threw. There is one that I am steadfast with and it has to do with both my hubby and I and I think it is the best resolution we can make to each other. Just wish us well. I wish all my blog friends a wonderful New Years. Be good to yourself and those around you. And remember to tell those that mean the world to you, how much you really do love them and that they are important to you. Let them know they are your shining star!

Happy New Year and may you and Doug accomplish whatever it is you're hoping to accomplish in 2007.

We are staying in for a quiet evening and may not even stay up until midnight....I read a quote by Bill Vaughn and it is "Youth is when you're allowed to stay up late on New Year's Eve. Middle age is when you're forced to."

Stay safe this weekend!

Happy New Year!

My bloggaroni and I write letters to ourselves at the beginning of the year and then we open them the following year. In the letter, we recap the year and discuss our goals for the upcoming year. It's really quite fun...

The key to a resolution is that the only person you can really make it with is yourself. It helps if you tell people--as they can try to hold you accountable, but if you don't keep it--it affects you most of all.

I, like many others, have several resolutions. And, like you, I'm hoping to keep each of them in 2007.

Many wishes to you and your husband in 2007. May all your resolutions come true!!
