I received the above award from one of my longtime blogging friend TomCat or TC from Politics Plus . Now for those of you who know TC know he is very passionate about the current presidential election and in tune with the political arena. I consider it such an honour to receive this from him. I wouldn't consider myself a mentor in the blogosphere, but I have been a mentor in my personal life. I am told this award is to acknowledge those in the blogging world that encourage others to continue to blog and provide guidance and just generally be a mentor. So with that being said I would like to pass this on to a blogger who I happen to think is both a mentor and an inspiration, I think she demonstrates mentoring in the truest sense of the word.
Jeni is an avid blogger and is very inquisitive. Jeni just recently went from dial up to ADSL and is a force to be reckoned with...she is like a kid in a candy store....even with all the research this lady does on line she is never to busy to answer questions, and has always encouraged me to continue to blog when I thought I didn't want to do it anymore. So Jeni thank you and this one is for you. Cheers!

Thank you so much for the vote of confidence you expressed here Mary Ann. My kids would agree in part with one thing you said - "a force to be reckoned with" but somehow, I don't think they mean it quite the same way you do. LOL
I'm NOT the person to go to though -usually -for questions that are the least bit technical about blogging or computers and such as my knowledge there amounts to about what the tip of my little finger can hold and that, we know, ain't all that much!
But, I do enjoy blogging -very much -have met so many, many interesting people, made so many acquaintances that I count now among my friends, not just some person whose blog I read.
Since I too try to follow TC (Tomcat's) blog as much as possible -but my, he is prolific in his posting, isn't he? -I consider any honor he bestowed on you and that you passed on to me in turn, to be a great one!
Wow - that sounds like a long-winded old political acceptance speech, doesn't it?
But, bottom line is, I do appreciate your words, the award and I try -not always that successfully -if possible, to be helpful, at least most of the time.
jeni is a huge mentor to me so you made a wise choice in passing the award on to her. she was one of my first blog friends and really made me feel comfy in a new arena.
Congratulations!
Mary Anne, you were one of the very first visitors to Politics Plus when I moved from Windows Live Spaces (a blogger's nightmare)to Blogger. As soon as I saw your blog, I realized the importance of pictures in blogs and I learned to use them watching you. In addition, you have become a great encouragement and a fine friend.
Excellent choice in Jeni.
