Heads or Tails Tuesday....

This weeks theme is "Love".... being February and only 2 days before Valentine's day what a perfect theme and opportunity to share things about love..........

Do you remember your favourite "Love" song?

Do you remember the name of your first "Love"?

Do you remember what you "Love" the most?

Do you remember the "Love" you felt when your child was born?

Do you remember how it felt to tell someone I "Love" You?

Do you remember how you felt when someone told you they "Love" You?

Do you remember one of your favourtie pets and how much "Love" they brought to your home?

I do.....and that is what I want to remember this Valentines day......the people I love, my pet who lovingly greets me and lays in the doorway keeping me company while I sit at my computer, my family, my wonderful beautiful daughters that love me even with all of my idiosyncrasies, my step sons who bring me such joy and my wonderful husband who is by my side whenever I need him.....yes I remember......I hope you remember what you "Love".

If you would like to join in on the fun please go over to Skittles Place and get all the instructions.

As I sit here looking out the window at the dreary, snowy February day, I remember many things and loves. From all of them though the love my Mother felt for me and I for her stands above all else. She passed away in May and I will always miss her. Of course I love my husband and son very much, but Mother's love is so unconditional, nothing can compare...ciao

What a beautiful reminder of the different types of love we experience during our lives. Great job!

Ah, you forgot one (& it can sometimes be very difficult!): love for yourself. Sometimes all of the love others show you can be bewildering if you don't love yourself. **sheepish grin** I speak from experience, but I'm workin' on it. Have a Lovely Tuesday! :)

Thank you for that lovely list of questions. It really gets you thinking about what love really means. :)

I'll take a stab at your questions :)

Do you remember your favourite "Love" song? I've had many favorites as the years have progressed. Me & Mike's unofficial song is "There's No Way" by Alabama.

Do you remember the name of your first "Love"? Not sure if it's the same thing but my first PUPPY love was Paul something-or-other in 1st or 2nd grade.

Do you remember what you "Love" the most? My family.

Do you remember the "Love" you felt when your child was born? Oh yes.. each of them. I can remember how they felt in my arms and how they smelled and and and..

Do you remember how it felt to tell someone I "Love" You? The first time I said it to Mike he replied he wasn't ready to say it back. BRAT! lol

Do you remember how you felt when someone told you they "Love" You? It wasn't TOO much longer before he did.

Do you remember one of your favourite pets and how much "Love" they brought to your home? When my kids were growing up we had a mixed breed dog named Suzi. She was everything you would want in a pet and since then has become the standard by which we all judge our newer pets. It killed us when she had to be put to sleep.

I grew up in courtenay/Comox. (Rural) I still have friends there and my parents are still there. My mom nursed there for 25 years.
