Well it's Tuesday so that must mean it's Heads or Tails Tuesday. This week Skittle has chosen the theme to be GREEN. In light of St. Patrick's Day being just around the corner what a perfect time to celebrate green. It just so happens that hubby and I will be having a St. Patrick's Day dinner party and so I have gone out and bought decorations....so for green this week I will share with you the decorations I have bought for the party.....

There is another little something I would like to share with you and it to has a lot of green in it. Last week I went and got something I have wanted for a very long time, and I think it is perfect for the theme and for St. Patrick's day, as well as in keeping with my Irish heritage.

It's my tattoo....yup....it is the Celtic symbol for Motherhood...the three coloured dots represents the birthstone of each of my children....The tattoo is a heart within a heart...I had opted to have one of the hearts green..again to follow along the lines of my Irish heritage...the tattoo is only a week old so I am still getting use to it..it's not the greatest picture...I didn't realize what ugly feet I had until I started taking photos of my tattoo....so that is my Green.

Anyhow, if you would like to join in on the fun, please check out Skittle's Placefor all the instructions...hope you play along.

wow, that is so cool! I love it. I see no feet at all but I really really doubt they are as "bad" as you think. The design of this tattoo is just great.

It looks like a fun time in store! You ARE inviting all of us bloggers, right???? :P

That's a beautiful tattoo. Didn't it hurt having it put on your (not ugly at all) foot? I like the birthstones idea. As you saw at my post, I got mine in a necklace and figurine.

LOL! I guess I was right in assuming everyone and everyone's mother were getting tattoos nowadays!

I think it's awesome though. Very cool and unique design which is pretty rare.

Enjoy it!

Gosh these are both very unique for the green theme Mary Anne. I don't imagine anyone else will have a tattoo photo. Excellent choices!

I couldn't figure out forever where your tattoo was and then I finally found where you posted about your supposedly ugly feet. It looks like you are going to have a great party!

I love the Irish, since I AM Irish! And I too have a tattoo. Yours is so unique, I love that too. [mine is on my right ankle....a tiger]

If you're anything like me tho, you'll not regret getting it done.

My HoT 'green' is shared. I do hope you can drop by, if you haven't already. Be prepared to sing along with Kermit the Frog tho!! :::smiles:::

I love your tattoo! I have one on my back that hurt like hell when I had it done. I would think it would hurt even more on your feet where there's not much flesh! Ouch.

nice tattoo. My sister has one; I don't think I'd ever get one, just b/c of the pain

What a colorful tattoo.
They now got corn beef on sale so I'll get one for Saint Patrick day and put some in freezer.

WOW - that is a fabulous tatoo! - - it took me forever to figure out what the body part was though - lol!

I'm 1/3 Irish, and was thinking about having a party on Sunday, but the last couple of days I have been so pooped i forgot all about it...now I think it is too late to get organized.

So I will just come over here next week and "join" your party, if i may?

cheers for now,
pj

The party sounds like fun.

I've wanted a tattoo on my foot for a long time now. I think it would good between my birk straps.

Yours is beautiful. Did it hurt as bad as everyone keeps telling me it will?
