Halloween Swap.....

A little while ago my blog friend Pea organized another Halloween swap. This is my second year participating. Last year I was matched with my dear friend Grandmocha since we were matched by Pea last year we have become great blogging friends. I think the same will apply with this years match. This year I received my parcel from MomaBear. The parcel arrived on Monday, but it wasn't until today that I was able to get to the post office to pick it up...well what a treat....look at all the goodies I got.....I think this is great...I love the idea of the magazine with all the Halloween treats and suggestions. Momabear sent the makings for some Halloween cupcakes or whatever I decide to make with the baking ingredients...I thought that was a wonderful suggestion......and what about this lovely card....looks to me like she made it....
and then the country patchwork pumpkin along with the pumpkin candle and of course inside there is a wonderfully scented (pumpkin scent I thing)candle inside! Thank you so much Momabear for your thoughtfulness......

I've got a huge smile on my face...I'm always so thrilled when a swap works out so well:-) Mamabear certainly did send you a delightful Halloween parcel...I would have never thought of a cake mix, etc., what a brilliant idea! I'm keeping my fingers crossed that all the other participants will enjoy their parcels just as much:-) xox

Aren't these swap a blast. I'll have mine post a little later in the day. I'm doing my weekly cleaning chores in my home.

Sorry, that was me above - made a mess, so deleted it.

Just wanted to say my daughter (#1) loves Halloween. It's her favourite holiday and she does her house up inside and out and goes to parties, etc. She was born 2 days before and we tease her that we were considering calling her Hazel (after old witch Hazel from the Little Lulu comic books). I love this season, except when it rains so hard the water bounces off the streets - like today! Hope it stops soon as I'm going to a funeral and the poor family will be at the gravesite in this!
