It's raining

The weatherman was wrong. Surprise, Surprise. The rain has come a day early. Was suppose to go for a run with my girlfriend. Chickened out. Called her, told her it was an indoor exercise day. So onto the stepper I must go.

Still a bit sore from yesterday. I was busy taking down some Halloween decorations and well one thing led to another. I ended up giving my kitchen suite a polish. You know using the fine wool pads and then using the oil and polishing. That is a job. Well if that wasn't enough. I decided to get a head start on some of my pre-Christmas cleaning and I washed the walls in my main bathroom in anticipation of painting it before Christmas. I don't know why I do this to myself. I am just looking at my work schedule for November and it is full. Not only I am working full time but I have taken on a temporary assignment to run the "Flu clinic" for my doctor's office. Silly girl!

I hope today finds you all well. And don't let the weather keep you from doing what you want to....ok!

Well, this is kind of in response to yesterday and today: I'll feel a lot more confident in predictions about weather patterns over the next several years when the accuracy of forecasts over the next several days starts consistently hitting 100%.

And, BTW, we had the earliest measurable snowfall we ever had in Chicago -- last month.

I've no doubt the climate is changing. It's changed before. It's always changing. What I doubt is our ability to predict/control the changes that are coming.

And since it's raining there, I'll dry up now....

Mary Anne, I think you are a glutton for punishment. If you run out of things to clean at your house, you are cordially invited to visit me in Kentucky and I will gladly put you to work. You can call it a vacation, but I think I can find plenty to keep you occupied. Hope your muscle soreness eases up some before Christmas (after you get your BR painted). -- You know I'm just kidding you.

Keep repeating to yourself: rain, rain, go away, come again some other day, little MA wants to play. Hope tomorrow is better for you. BTW, got a message from your hubby asking me what pumpkin loaf (pumpkin bread) was. Ask him if I explained myself clearly enough for him. If not, I will give you the recipe for you to try for him. I guarantee he will like it.

Hey Mary Anne...

I was hoping that the rain would make you sit down and rest. But I see that it has done the complete opposite.

I pray for sunshiney days so that you will get out of the house!

I'm like that too...will start on one thing and end up on a super duper cleaning frenzy! lol Sure sounds like you'll be busy with work in November so it's not a bad idea to start some pre-Christmas cleaning now...it will be here before you know it!

Hi, this is a little off the subject, but blogger won't let me leave a comment on your latest post. I'm work every weekend, 16 hours on Saturday and 8 hours on Sunday, and I feel your pain. I also wanted you to know that I just found your blog and I'm adding you to my blogroll.
