I can't believe it. Here I am the first one on the list. I wrote my little story last week. I have been editing it, working with, moulding it. Now the day is here and you aren't going to believe this. It wouldn't post. Not only would it not post, but it got lost. It is late, and I must get up at 0500 for work in the morning and fear that I will not have time to post a story. I feel so very bad about this. It wasn't that the story was really anything that special. It was that I wanted to be part of the whole story. Sorry gang~ I guess I should attempt mastering the post and blog world before taking on such a task.
I have so enjoyed reading the stories that have been posted. You are all such wonderful writers. I can't believe some of you haven't had something published yet.
I am looking forward to reading all of your stories.
Cheers all.

Dang Mary Anne!
Now why couldn't I come up with that excuse!
LOL - just kidding!
Blogger will do that to you when you least expect it. I'm a wordpress gal, now.
Oh Mary Anne. thats to bad! I wanted so much to read your story...
I know how it feels when you lose something on the darn computer. I have done that already myself. I imagine you tried hitting the backspace button to see if it would retrieve it?
I think I might keep your link up so that people can just come and look at how pretty your site is. And they can read all about your wonderful Thanksgiving tradition while they are here..I'm so sorry that happened to you.
(((HUGZ)))
Blogger cana be very "hormonal" at times. Sorry you lost your story.
mary anne, hope you don't have to work too hard and i am so sorry about your story. but don't worry about it, don't be frustrated, just enjoy the others my friend... bee
Mary Anne, when I checked my Bloglines, your short story was there. I will try to copy/paste it back to you.
Hey Cathy.....
I must confess after what happend last night I told myself that I wasn't going to blog anymore. I was so frustrated, felt like a complete idiot. Can you say meltdown. Poor hubby.
Anyhow, I did what you suggested. I found it in the blogger history, but for the life of me don't know how to retrieve and post it. Least I found it. Thanks for the suggestion.
Thanks girl. Hope everyone enjoys a good reading day!!!
Mary Anne,
I think that's happened to many of us at one time or another. Frustrating to say the least..
Don't let something like this stop you from blogging.
(I type my in Word now and copy and paste it into blogger)
darn! for you and us. i was looking forward to yours.
Awww MaryAnne! I type everything in a notepad file on my computer and save them, because I have had posts disappear too!! I also periodically save the file as I'm typing it, *JUST IN CASE* something unexpected happens, like a power outage. Trust me, it's happened to me before!! It happened while I was typing a paper for eng comp in college, and I hadn't saved any of it yet. ARGH!! I hope you can retrieve your post and post it!
Thank you all for being so understanding....great suggestions from all of you....I will cetainly take the writing it in word first.
Haven't had a chance to read anymore your stories...I am working....but I so am looking forward to it.
Again Thank you all for understanding.
Blogger can be a real pain at times. I've had enough funny things happen on my computer I try to back up everything. I even go through now and then and print each post to PDF with the comments...
If you found the story, can't you highlight the text with your mouse, then use Edit, Copy to put it on the Clipboard? If you can do that, just paste the recovered text into Word or NotePad or whatever you use. Then paste it into the Create a New Post box...
Hope that works for you; it's the first thing I'd try, anyway.
