1) I love the colour RED
2) I don't like porridge. I think that is a result of my mom making huge pots of it...and well...it often had lumps in it. Yuck!!! No...."please sir can I have some more" for me.
3) I enjoy fishing and being out on the water as much as possible. I am really looking forward to fishing season and being able to get out there on the boat with my hubby. Maybe I can give him some competition.
4) I love to canoe. I canoed the Broken Island Group off of the Westcoast of Vancouver Island a few times with family and friends. It was a lot of work, but great exercise and the scenery was spectacular.
5) I love seafood. Almost anything.....I love shrimp but they don't like me.....very allergic to shrimp.
6) Fondues......yummmy.......chocolate fondue......strawberries, pineapple, bananas, kiwi.....oh yes ......
7) I am left handed. Do you have any idea how difficult some things can be for a left handed person. Think about ladles for pouring soups...always on the wrong side for me....or the spatula...the bend is on the wrong side....pulling the cord on the lawnmower or weed whacker.....on the wrong side.....simple things like learning how to tie your shoes, or setting the table.....or folding a sheet with a righty......try it sometime....see what happens....you will be surprised.....
"One out of every ten people walking down the street is left-handed. Everywhere they go, left-handed people come across tools that were designed for right handed persons.
From scissors to camcorders to screw drivers to hockey sticks to baseball gloves, lefties learn early on that they need to develop skills to live in a world designed for right handed people." See I couldn't even find a good picture to demonstrate anything about lefties.....but boy did I find some interesting articles....I think I sense a topic for a post coming on!
So there you have it.....Seven things about me.
