Sunset from the beach just down the road from us.

Susie tagged me on this one it's "Words"

Candy: Red Twizllers. They are great for road trips.

Beach: Long Beach here on the westcoast of Vancouver Island
LongBeachThis is an amazing place, nature at it's finest. The winter storms are incredible!!!

Great answers! We've cruised out of Vancouver a few times. Is that near you? If I remember we sailed out under the Lion's Gate Bridge which connects Vancouver with Vancouver Island?

Hi Mary Anne- Thanks for commenting on my blog! I've never visited Vancouver or the West coast of Canada, but I'd love to. It sounds beautiful.

I recognize that very spot in the photograph. I spent a lot of time at Qualicum Beach. When I was 17 my friend Roz and I camped on the beach for the whole summer. We even managed to get into a Roy Orbison concert in Ladysmith - for free. We hitch-hiked down there, went to the concert and hitch-hiked back to our campsite. What a fabulous time we had.

Qualicum one of my favorite places.

Cheers,

Josie

Hi there! I clicked on the link from your comments on Tai's blog. As soon as I saw Qualicum I had to check if it was the Qualicum I was thinking of. As a kid, I used to vacation there with my family every year and more recently, a set of in-law aunt and uncle have recently relocated there. I was last there just about a month ago. What a great area!
