We are just learning how to use our downriggers. So far we've lost more gear than caught fish. In fact, gear lost = 3, fish caught = 0. Not a good start. - Margy
Beautiful photos, I love fishing and haven't been in ages! I also really loved your post about the nurses you saw the other day, I hope you're in top shape now!
Very nice shots! Love the second with the rain of stars falling in the sea! Thanks for sharing. And thanks for visiting my place and taking the time to comment;o)
I saw your post on Icy BC's blog and the "Smalltown RN" caught my eye. I've been an RN for 45 years now...just lost my forensic nursing position of 21 years about 3 years ago in massive budget cuts to the San Francisco Dept of Public Health and, at 64-1/2, went ahead and retired, though with much sadness. I have some medical problems and, with no acute care experience in all these years, it seemed the best.
I love your part of the country and often used to visit BC - and the whole world until retirement income changed my life.
I read your post about being a patient...I've had three five day hospitalizations in the past year. I did a poem on my blog about it. Thought you'd appreciate it as a fellow RN.
Nice peaceful scene, did he catch any fish? I spent time in hospital and also wrote a poem about it, called 'The Great Escape' - the matron was not amused.

Because I like to sleep in, I realize that I miss these stunning skies!
